Got this for my wife’s gardening as she goes through them so quickly. So far, this has lasted longer than some. She says the pockets are in good and convenient places and when this one gets trashed to probably get another.

Nice heavy … not too heavy canvas apron. I wear it in the garden and to farmers markets. The pockets are so useful and it can be adjusted to fit. Very very pleased with this. I think it will be amazingly durable

My daughter wears aprons more often than most people. Usually for work, but she tends to wear them at home as well. She says she has different aprons for different tasks (cooking, gardening, cleaning, woodworking, sewing, etc.). She recently had back surgery and has been trying to switch all of her neck aprons to cross back aprons and when I saw this I figured I would order it for her. The following is her feedback:

I have one other cross back apron and the design of this one is so much better! The actual cris-cross straps are sewn and attached, rather than feed through a grommet. And then the adjustable waist strap just hooks across. I love it! I’m trying to figure out if I have enough straps from other aprons to sew and make them all like this.

The material is very lightweight, seems pretty water resistant, I like the pockets that it comes with. I typically end up folding the bottom 6 or 7″ of longer aprons up and sewing vertically to create three or four additional pockets. I haven’t done that with this one yet.

I appreciate the one pocket that is reinforced for sharper tools as well as the pocket with the flap closure. This is a great apron for cooking, cleaning or maybe light duty gardening. The material is not thick enough for it to be protective if I were pruning a rose bush or for it to be a shop apron, but that’s okay. I have others that serve that purpose.

I’m really just thrilled with the design of it! Multi-functional and very comfortable!

First, let me mention what I like about this apron.

I wish I had come across this a bit sooner because I just pulled up a ton of beggar’s lice from my backyard and the nice thing about the water-resistant coating is that it is also resistant to the tiny little burrs that are all over that stuff. There is one pocket made out of a different, thicker material (presumably to hold up to shears and other sharp tools better) and that will get burrs on it but it’s still a win. I also expect this will clean up well in the workshop from sawdust and other things as I got it for double-duty, outdoors and indoors.

The other main thing that I absolutely love is that the waist strap hooks on the side with a small carabiner-style clasp. I recently had a shoulder injury that limits the movement of one of my arms making it painful to try and tie a strap behind my waist. I have a more expensive apron with a similar feature and I think from now on I will only buy aprons like this. I like it so much I think I will buy another of these as a spare.

Now there are a couple of things I don’t like.

I’m not liking the cross-shoulder design of the strap. It’s awkward to put on and I wish the shoulder straps instead had an ‘H’ design with a short connecting strap holding the two together (My more expensive shop apron is built like this) or had some sort of cross attachment like suspenders with the ‘X’ design tend to have.

I also wish this were a little bit longer. I’m 5’10” and this comes down to 3-4″ below my waist and I feel like it could maybe be another 3-4″ longer to be closer to knee length. But I do get that this is intended for people of various heights and is designed for gardening where a shorter length may be preferred. I am not a gardener so I mainly got this for tending to the weeds that can quickly take over my yard and also for shop and garage use.

Still, my little nitpicks of personal preference do not detract from the quality of the apron. It seems well-made and will hopefully last me a long time.

I absolutely love this apron. Although I do live on a hobby farm and garden as well as own a smattering of small livestock, I bought this apron for art, crafting, and painting. As an avid outdoors person I think that this apron would work well for all light, but messy outdoor endeavors. A+ for creating a waterproof and mess proof barrier without being too plasticy, crinkly, or overly thick. It is actually nice and thin but durable and is easily wipeable. I am a fan of thick canvas aprons, which this is not, but you are much more mobile in this one. The cross over straps in the back are a fantastic feature that keeps the apron where it is supposed to be, and not in your way. These aspects make it ideal for many applications. From almost any distance it looks like regular apron fabric and you wouldn’t realise the texture and slickness until you touch it. It doesn’t feel nice, but that’s not the point. It is highly practical. As a crafter’s apron it is A+++. It will handle light through very heavy duty, and does not interfere with fine motor skills. Washes clean of almost anything. The only thing that I don’t like about the apron is that although the sizing is extremely generous, the bust width is very narrow. If you have a larger bust, as I do, 42DD, you must crank the top up for more coverage. As it is unisex this is to be expected, but this is quite a bit smaller. The overall sizing is 2-3 sizes larger than expected for a woman. I usually wear an xl-xxl shirt, and needed a small/medium. I have only about 2-3 inches to spare on the waist buckle, but the larger size range would be way too big. Sizing aside, I love everything about this apron and am happy to recommend it.
