Nice little camp saw that fits perfectly in a day pack. This saw folds neatly into a fairly compact package a little over 9 inches. It’s got a rubber covered plastic handle that is comfortable to hold and use. The blade has about 6 inches of cut capacity but realistically less as the teeth come back almost to the handle. While the handle is very comfortable I worry about its long term durability being plastic. The lock is nice as well, but a little stiff initially. I’m sure it will loosen up over time, and it’s better to be too stiff than too loose.
The tooth configuration of this saw seems perfect as it’s not too fine or too course so should allow for smooth cutting without hanging up too much. Again where I’m most concerned is when sawing with some speed and force is when the blade has the most potential to bind. When it binds it defects to one side or the other. With a metal handle typically only the blade binds or flexes but since the plastic is less resistant to flexing there is the potential for flex and eventual breakage in the plastic. Seems sturdy enough but only time will tell. Certainly the rubber coated plastic handle is more comfortable than the rubber coated metal handles I own!
Overall a very nice camp saw with some potential drawbacks but only in theory as it’s proved to be a good saw so far in the limited use I’ve put it through.

If you’re going on a hike, or taking a trip camping. You may want to consider bringing this along, not big and bulky like some other saws. It is a bit thin, and does not feel as heavy duty as you may need for big tasks. In a pinch, and especially in a survival situation, this will come in handy. It is sharp enough to do most processing tasks you would need for fuel or warmth when being outdoors for extended periods and especially into the night.

It is a really sharp knife and for me it was a little hard to open but does the job

I bought this thinking I would stick it in with our camping gear and only use it if we needed to cut some branches or wood while camping, but I wanted to try it out at home first before camping and now I’ve decided it’s too good to just stick away in a box that only gets used a couple times a year!
I cut several branches with this, from 1″ up to 3″, and was very pleasantly surprised how smoothly and quickly it sawed through them. The handle is covered in texturized rubber, giving it a super-secure grip. There’s a lever you press to release and unfold the blade. It’s a little stiff to open and close, but I’m thinking a drop of lubricant will solve the issue. There is an audible “click” when it’s fully and securely extended and another “click” when it’s safely closed.
I thought for how lightweight and inexpensive it is, it couldn’t be very good, but I was wrong!

This is an easy to use hand saw. You can push and pull the blade through the wood. It has a safety lock to keep the blade open or closed. My only complaint is the clear coat on the blade was poorly applied and it has runs and bubbles, but it doesn’t seem to effect the performance.

I have a huge garden and am always taking my pruning saw with me wherever I go. I just never thought to get one that folds. Thank goodness I got this one because the fact that it folds is a game changer for me, I carry many pruning items with me and the fact that it folds gives me one less thing to worry about. I do not want to get cut accidentally. The saw is lightweight, which is a plus and it is sharp which is very important. It cuts branches with no problem. This is better than the saw I had before.

As a decent weight, handy folding cutter, it’s pretty sweet. But for tasks beyond backyard garden pruning, it’s really out of its league.
I have a back garden comprised of flowering bushes, shrubs, and light and spindly trees. You could call it thickety or even stickly more than woodsy. Trimming, pruning, and neatening doesn’t require much in the way of heavymetal hardware. So for my needs, this hand saw tool is fine.
The blade folds and latches easily, quite compact. The blade extends about eleven inches with a slight arc. The teeth are rugged and well separated for creating a smooth, continuous cutting edge. All pluses.
But – for tasks beyond light trimming of thin branches and stalks, you might want to look toward a heavier tool. Even for my small garden jobs, the blade can feel a bit wobbly in it’s handle.
Great for around the house, but I wouldn’t trust it in the wilds.

I’m always having to cut down trees on my property, and I try to catch most of them before they get too big. This saw is going to make it so much easier! I usually use a hacksaw, but it is too large for my hands, and is a flat, straight blade. So I am often pushing one end into the dirt. This hand saw is perfect! It is smaller and really fits my hands. The blade has two positions/ angles so that will make it easy to find the right angle for the cut, and be able to keep the end of the blade out of the dirt. There is a locking button at the end of the handle which does a great job of securely keeping the blade in place. The loud click feedback you get when the blade is locked into position is so satisfying! And the blade … it is sharp and serrated and should have no trouble cutting trees. It supposedly can cut 4”-5” branches, so that should meet all of my needs. When not in use, the blade folds nicely into the handle, which means I can throw it into my pocket and free up my hands to carry other tools. This is going to be my new favorite tool!
UPDATE: I did find that when I needed a little more force to cut a branch, and I put two hands on the handle, I sometimes accidentally pushed the locking button which enabled the blade to move to a different position.
