Uses a “rachet” style strap tighten to blower. It slides off the blower. The curved “J” tube makes to have to stand too close to gutter. You end up with the debris blown all over yourself.

I just received the gutter attachment today, it easily attached to my blower. I did my gutters sometimes I would put the blower between my legs to stabilize it. Sometimes I sat it on the ground it work like a dream. Not sure who else is complaining but this worked great for me. I will admit the part that attached to the blower came off after about 10 minutes of use but then I put it back on and I tightened it tighter, and it didn’t come off again.
Also others complained it kept bending, be sure to read instructions, the flexible bending part is the first to attach to the blower not at top. I live in an HOA community that sometimes they clean sometimes they don’t so I just do it so I can keep my leaves cleaned all year long ironically after doing this, they came and clean my gutters two days later and I’m happy to report my gutters only had about 12 leaves that I missed so this thing works really good now I can do my gutters anytime I want and it took me no time at all.

I used this with a black and decker hand held (not backpack) blower.
Here are a few items to note from my first usage:
– Holding the blower and the attachment doesn’t really work that well. There is enough air pressure that I really needed two hands on the tubing to direct the air flow. With a handheld blower I had to lay the blower on the ground and make sure the intake wasn’t blocked. This would be better with a backpack style blower.
– The sections screw together. This includes the top u shaped tube and it is easy to bump and unscrew slightly so that you don’t have good directional control. A twist and lock mechanism on this final section would have been beneficial.
– The attachment to the blower came off multiple times when I was using it.
– The pipe seems a touch flimsy. The tube would bend slightly when in use from the pressure of the air. I have gutters that are taller but I am really not sure adding another few sections would work. It might be too much for the tubes.
I wish I had only paid $30 for this. Or less. While it does work somewhat ok, in my mind it wasn’t worth the money I spent.

I am happy with this purchase but it is expensive and has a few flaws. The manufacturer doesn’t give enough tubing to reach a second story gutter. The ratchet adapter to go over your leaf blower comes off quite easily. If you have small hands, good luck hanging on to the tube when it is on and fully extended, could really use an adjustable handle on the tube. Thing is this item has saved me a lot of grief with moving ladders around and constantly going up and down or walking on the roof.

This attachment works great for blowing leaves and debris out of your gutters while standing a ground level. My new building has lots of gutters and I found this works best when things are dry, so use it in August before the autumn rains. At full length there is a lot of side force and it is hard to control with one hand while holding the blower in the other. I wish they had an elbow band and a hand grip to make it easier to use with one hand. Otherwise the pieces fit together easily and it snaps onto the blower no problem. Over all it is pretty good, you just may have to do some DYI grips for the base section.

I used the plastic tubing attachment with the leaf blower/mulcher combo (BEBL7000) to clean my gutters out. It worked well with the following caveats:
1. My gutters are about 1 story high – I’m not sure how well it would work with 2 stories.
2. You can’t possibly hold the unit yourself and mange the tubing (the force is too much to manage with one arm). Since I was using it on 1 story, I left the unit on the ground and was able to do the job alone. If doing 2 stories, you need a helper. Not a big deal, but you should know this since the picture they show has one man cleaning his 2 story gutters by himself.
3. As other reviewers note, the tubing must be secured with a short bungee since they designed it to clamp on and the force of the air blows it off the unit. It is a very poor design but easily fixed with a short bungee cord. You’ll have to do this, it won’t stay attached otherwise.
4. The tubing is overpriced for what it is, but it does work so you’ll have to decide if it is worth it for you.

I’m not a huge fan of climbing a ladder to clean the gutters and this attachment is an excellent solution for that issue. Easy to assemble and attach and length can be added or taken away if needed. I have a smaller leaf blower, so it takes a little more work to move wet or caked in, but I feel like that’s more with the size of my leaf blower. I wish I would have found this a long time ago.

For me the attachment easy to use. I had to lay the blower on the ground. I could not hold the blower and the attachment at the same time but on the ground I could manage the attachment.
I read the reviews. I crossed my fingers and bought the product knowing that many customers had issues with the attachment coming off the blower. Well that’s just what happened for me. In a period of approximately 10 minutes the attachment came off twice. Because it doesn’t go on so easily because you have to get it as tight as you can it wasn’t even worth messing around with. I saw other customers had to rig something but that’s not why I bought the product. I’m looking to buy a product that I don’t have to make it work. If I’m spending the money it should work. In the directions it read that I may have to use something to secure the attachment to the blower. That tells me that Black & Decker knows that this is an issue and with all the reviews they’re doing nothing about it. Black & Decker needs to hire adequate engineers. This is a blower not a rocket. This item is going back. Not worth the hassle to even take out of the garage so even at $50 I’m not going to use this product. It’s simply doesn’t work.

You can keep gutter clear without climbing ladder with this attachment. You might need one person to rev the blower and the other to guide the wand. Works best that way.
