Upon opening this package, I was impressed. Everything in the box was top-notch material. The hose is some kind of strong flexible rubber like material. Fittings are brass. Nozzle is brass. Wall bracket is strong and thick steel.
After hooking to a supply line and testing, it not only looks good but performs well. No kinks, there is nothing to crease and cause a kink. The nozzle operates smoothly and performs well. The only negatives for me is the ubiquitous plastic coatings on hose fittings and nozzle, they don’t detract from the hose function though.

Our previous hose that we’d had for many years finally sprung a leak, so it was time for a replacement. We also opted for a slightly longer one so that my husband could wash both cars in our long driveway without having to move either of them. The rubber on this hose is of great quality and has been easy to unwind and recoil on our stand. It won’t be heavily used other than washing the car, so I could see this lasting as long if not longer than our old hose. Solid replacement.

I live in Las Vegas, so a new hose has just become an annual purchase for us, as the extreme heat & sun just disintegrate after one summer season. This one has quality brass fittings and is hefty and thicker than most, with a more rubbery than plastic feel to it. We have a large back yard, so I got the 100′ one. It’s flexible and the swivel feature on the handle side is nice to keep it from getting twisted as you drag it around. I am hopeful this one will last more than one season, but time will tell, and I will update if it doesn’t hold up to the 140 degree rating it claims.

This hose is awesome! It is a bit heavy, so I would recommend buying a separate hose reel, for easier storage. It did come with a storage thing that can be attached to the house, but I think that a reel would make more sense. Overall, this is great! Very long, and durable.

After years of using expandable hoses and putting 2 of them (minimum) in the trash per year. I quit. That’s a lot of money going to a landfill.
This hose is heavier and less convenient to lug around but I know that the 90 degree temperatures are not going to cause it to explode after a few months of use.
I don’t leave the water on, I make sure to empty hoses after use but the expandables inner tubing is not made for storing outside and I don’t have the time, storage space or stamina to be bringing 100 foot hoses inside every day twice a day.
This is heavy duty, it’s heavier than I might like, it does occasionally kink while watering but it’s nothing unexpected and I have confidence that I will not be throwing it in the garbage in 5 months (which is about the lifetime of 99% of expandable hoses).

I needed to replace a shorter hose that while nice, just did not have the reach I needed. This hose is soft and supple, so the inevitable kinks are easy to smooth out. The length and suppleness do create a condition for easy tangles though. I managed this by stretching the hose out while brand new and left sitting in the hot South Florida sun for a few hours. Then I coiled the hose properly and let it cool that way. This built some “memory” into the hose, and it is now easier to manage.
The brass connectors are nice and provide good grip for tightening or loosening the hose from the spigot or whatever is connected to the other end, I use it for a pressure washer.
Water flow is perfect, but there was some leakage around the spigot. Likely due to damaged threads on the spigot itself.
