Bought this as a first compost tumbler to see if they work. The smaller size and the divided tumbler were pluses for me. There are a lot of parts and many, many screws, washers and nuts but the assembly is straight forward. Have been slowly filling the tumbler with coffee grounds and shredded paper (junk mail) with some water. Have also been giving it a few turns whenever I get close. The contents are looking a bit more like healthy dirt every week.

The tumbler seems sturdy, I’ve been using it for over a week now. The issue I have is that the doors are tiny and it’s very difficult to add new material to it.

Instructions not detailed, mainly relies on difficult to see diagrams. Once set up, easy to fill, water and tumble. Black color enhances heat factor in sun, speeding breakdown of compost materials. Have recommended to others.

My husband and I purchased this as a secondary compost bin. I just had the chance to assemble it today. Assembly wasn’t difficult. The instructions are sub-par, but honestly what instructions are actually clear and concise anymore. As I often say, a kindergarden kid could do a better job at drawing instruction diagrams. One word of advice is to definitely put the center section in after the 4th panel and honestly, you could probably get it in after the 5th. One thing to pay attention to is to line up the arrows in the center section with the arrows on the panels. That’s the reason for any gaps in the center. If they don’t line up with the arrows you will have a gap problem. I found that out the hard way after giving up on the instructions. Even with the mini oops moment, it took me less than an hour to assemble. I realize it’s empty at this point, but it does spin smoothly. I’m just giving it a 4 star for now and will revisit later after some use.

While I do like this product and find it easy to use, like many other reviewers, this thing was a bit of a nightmare to assemble. It took 3 of us about an hour and a half to figure it out. The main issue we found was the bolts that held everything together. They were a bit difficult to hold onto and stay tight.
However, once assembled, we have found this composter to be quite easy to turn and fill and it has stayed solid through some nasty storms.
I would recommend this product but, be forewarned, assembly may be rough.

I have a small raised garden and a big composter. This will be nice when I am able to expand my gardens. It was easy to put together and didn’t take much time. It rolls fine to mix the materials inside. It has 2 openings for various composting materials. I am short so I feel like I am climbing inside to reach the dirt, probably should turn it so materials are closer to the ground to scrape out into a bucket. I have not experienced any water from rain getting inside. It sits closer to the ground and is sturdy on level ground. Blends in nicely with the outdoors so not an eyesore. I am happy with the purchase. I have been using it for about 2 months now.

Un artículo que está facilitando mi trabajo de producir composta

I like that I will not have to use a pitchfork and tiller to churn up my compost with millions of routes choking it.
The composter went together as instructed, with a few nuts and bolts to spare; Taking about an hour with an engineer, and a handyman putting it together. It is definitely a two person job to assemble. You don’t really need the gloves they provide if you have your own garden gloves. The openings are a little small for putting in grass clippings and leaves. I am hoping the results will make it worth it.
