I love this compost bin, took about and hour to put together HOWEVER is very sturdy and a good quality. It has two sides so you can fill one side while the other is “brewing.” It turns easily without too much strain. I would recommend if you’re looking for a back yard compost bin that is not an inground unit. We have a lot of wildlife and I wanted something that wouldn’t be dug through. It’s been over a month and no animal has been able to get it in.

The compost is great so far! It’s worth the assembly for the price and sturdiness. I see multiple other people in my neighborhood actually have the same one, which is partially why I ordered. Just try to put it where it will get sun throughout the day to speed up the process. I also bought some compost starter to sprinkle in between the layers of leaves, greens, etc. It’s supposed to speed up the process so we’ll see!

The center divider seemed flimsy at first, but trust the process. If you can manage screwing on all the interlocking sides & making sure to insert the divider at the correct time, then it feels much sturdier in the end. The bin turns easily once complete, and feels solid.
We shall see how composting goes. This is my first bin, but not my first time composting. Hopefully the process is much faster with this bin!

Ive been trying to compost at home in the yard and it’s a pain with having to rotate the soil. This bin has been GREAT!!! It took a while to assemble (lots of little parts that all have to interlock into one-another) BUT once you have it, it feels really secure (no “goo drippage”) and SOOOO easy to just give it a spin as you walk by it each day. I haven’t had it that long so we haven’t been able to use it for compost yet (which we will in the spring) but i love having the TWO sides, so once one starts to break down for use, ill start filling the other side. to get that in rotation.

It is easy to assemble. The people at this company were
Amazing to work with. Got this on Jan 6, got covid on Jan 17….had not assembled composter yet. Did not feel like doing so until march 21. As i was counting pieces noticed a piece was missing i wrote them and had the part in hand a few days later
It is now put together and i vould not be happier with it. Spins easy, instructions not the greates but doable. Be nice not to have smelly compostables in my kitchen…just takes them outside and but in my new composter !! yay

The directions are adequate if you can follow pictures, but we were missing 20 of the locking nuts for the bolts pictured above. The bolts are not standard size so instead of being able to complete this project in an hour and watch The Kentucky Derby as planned. We spent a few hours out shopping at several of the big box stores in our area (Menards, Home Depot, Lowes) looking for replacement bolts and nuts which would work with the composter. If you don’t mind doing the extra work to get this put together, which we weren’t real happy about, it seems like it will be a good composter and meet our needs. Going to put our batch of ingredients in today and start the process. Hopefully in 4 weeks we will have great, organic compost to feed our plants.
