These work great! Much better than the cheap ones I tried first that broke all the time. Definitely good value!

Had to re drill all the little holes as they were plugged with plastic

I would say these are 4.5 stars, but Amazon doesn’t allow half stars. I used these in my raise vegetable bed so I can adjust according to to the water needs of each crop. Of course water pressure plays a factor, but the spray distance is pretty good, and even. I really like that these emitters are on spikes. The spikes allow me to raise or sink them into the ground, which gives me control over the distance water is sprayed. Many vegetables don’t like water on their leaves; it promotes fungus and mold growth. So, having the spikes and adjustable sprayer heads I can minimize water on the leaves. Since using these, I’ve had more success with my winter and summer crops. The only issue I had was 1 out of 5 had a loose head fitting, so twisting for greater water distance eventually resulted in the head flying off; thus spraying leaves and wasting water. Since it’s plastic, there was no way to fix that. I painted it with an “x”, and don’t adjust that head.

I like these little sprinklers! I ordered these–the information says two packages, but only one arrived. At first, I was worried because I had no correspondence to tell me that the other package would arrive later, so I sent an e-mail to them. Then I did a little digging and found that there is now a message saying that the other one will arrive in a few days. Oops. I am sorry I sent the message too quickly. But I already have some of these and I have really liked them, even though I agree with other reviewers that their name is a little misleading, as they are a little more like a sprayer than a dripper.

I have various sprinklers of this brand. My others make a 1-2ft ‘umbrella’ with a slight mist. These, even if you disconnect the old one and add these in their place, shoots out in actual streams, and only about 1 inch max. If you want a literal drip for herbs in a small pot that you don’t want the leaves to get wet, this might actually be perfect, but if you want a wider spread watering, these aren’t great.
If you DID buy these, and aren’t happy with them, you can alter them to work better. Here’s what I did:
Unscrew the top piece that makes the water pattern, and on the side where you connect the 1/4″ tubing, put your mouth to it and blow. Pay attention to the airflow (or lack of). You can get a small drill bit, measure out how far it is from the start of the hole to the center of the sprinkler head (around 3/4″), and slowly drill through the hole to widen it. Do NOT go past the center or you’ll drill out the back of the 90 degree turn. Make sure you drill very straight and don’t go too far. Let the drill run for a second when you’re in there, then pull it out and clean off the plastic bits, then drill the same way through the hole from the top, this widens the entire 90 degree hole. Then blow through it again to clear out any plastic bits and notice hopefully more of a flow. They’re cheap so I kept doing this with larger bits to see how big I could get away with before blowing out the side. I ruined my first one but figured out how large of a bit I could use. Screw the cap on just barely and now these will shoot out 1ft or so. If you want to increase the flow further, unscrew the cap and grab the black plastic pin with pliers and rotate til it snaps off. It’ll probably only half snap off but you’ll notice even better pressure. (Warning, doing this will make it so you can’t adjust the pressure, it’ll always be 100%)

Useless, not the bubblers. Get the bubblers.

You can put the stake in the middle of the plant and adjust the spray valve to water just how much you want.
