It was always a bummer to see lovely grocery store bought mini roses die right after their blooms faded, BUT NOW, NO MORE!! =)) Huzzah!! This little lamp with its timer w/ 3 settings for 8, 12, & 16 hours of full spectrum light is a game changer.♡♡ I bought the most wonderfully scented mini rose for Valentine’s and it is surviving and thriving so well, it will be ready to go into my garden in the next couple of weeks to settle in its new home. Since the light is on an adjustable telescoping pole. By raising it a bit higher, I’ve been able to provide better light for a small gardenia I had gotten as a gift, which sadly had started to wilt away, and an adjacent little jade tree plant is also benefitting. The automatic timer makes it so easy to use, what a pleasure! I will be curious to know the lifespan of the current bulb. It was worth the price I found it at! Happy rose, happy me! =))

Lasted exactly 2 years, which I think is pretty good for the $10-15 price point. There were a handful of times that the timer wasn’t precise and I would wake up at night to the light turning on at the wrong time, or it would turn off in the middle of the day off schedule. This seemed to start happening around the 18 month mark, and then right before two years the light just wouldn’t stay on anymore. It flashes like a strobe while I hold the power button down, but doesn’t stay on when I let go. The light was good brightness and was able to give good coverage to 3 potted plants mounted near each other on the wall. There were a couple times that the plant closest to it grew a little too tall and the top leaves got sunburned. I am not at all saying this is a fault in the light, but am saying that it does in deed have a bright enough light to promote good plant growth even at a good distance. If I were grasping for a fault, it would be that the ring around the light is a bit too heavy. In a shallow or lightweight pot it is hard to keep it upright. The little stick does need to be pushed pretty deeply and into soil that has enough compaction and weight to support it or it will just fall over. And in a lightweight pot, between waterings it will tip the whole pot over. That said, the only reason I’m here to write a review is that I’m back to purchase again.

Unfortunately I didn’t get what I ordered. The lights I received are not adjustable metal rods, just a standard size clear acrylic stick and the lights are not as described. Very disappointed.

Exactly as described, easy to use and the timer light is so handy. Will turn on every day by itself and turn off when the selected timer is up. Set it up and forget about it! Plants really seem to be enjoying the day extra light.

Only two out of seven are working 8 months later. I’m mad about all the junk sold to us on Amazon. I want them to do a better job vetting the products they carry. I bought 7 lights, so near $100. Eight months later, most don’t work. I’m going to test them to see if I can find the problem. DON’T BUY THESE, THE LANDFILL IS ALREADY FULL OF J U N K……PREVIOUS REVIEW TO FOLLOW: I have purchased three different brands of plant lights from Amazon this Winter. All the others are absolute junk. These are the best, by far! The lights by GYTF are toys. The light by AOKREAN is a little better, but barely. These have a nice solid build. I thought I was getting a “deal” with the other lights, but you can’t pay me to take those lights again. Stop looking and just buy these.

These are great for a couple random plants, unfortunately I have a ton and with needing so many lights and each one needing to be plugged in individually it just wasn’t suitable for me. These do however give off great light for growth and super easy to work and understand. I loved the fact that it has timers on them as well

Plants grown like crazy with these. Great for low light areas.

I was influenced by plant ig, but I’m so glad I was! These actually work so well, I noticed an immediate affect on the growth rate of my plants. I love how adjustable they are in height, brightness, and time settings. I recently recommended them to my coworker and they had the same reaction!

I have multiple plants set up under this grow light, and the timer works perfectly. The plants under him are thriving!

I’ve had a couple of these set up for about two weeks now, and my plants have not experienced ANY leaf drop. Better yet, they’re all pushing new growth. I waited to fertilize until I could tell whether the lights were working (don’t want to over-feed/water), so the new growth is definitely attributable to the lights. The plants have also moved in the direction of the light.
Pros: Plants LOVE them. The lights are super easy to set up. Timer function is easy to use and overall, the interface is good. Lots of light settings to choose from and easy to adjust; setting up the timer is simple. Aesthetically pleasing. The light itself is pretty – it’s a little pink/purple, but faintly? I strongly prefer the aesthetic of this light to the previous clip-on grow lights I had. Good range of height and angle settings, it was pretty easy to customize each light for the plant it accompanies.
Cons: They are a little wonky in that they’re top-heavy and don’t stand super easily in loose soils (they do stand just fine with a little extra attention). The timer function is easy to understand and employ, and they work pretty good. But they’re a little bit off, like somehow just shy of a 24-hour cycle, so they come on a few minutes earlier every day.
Major takeaway – my plants are happy, so I’m happy!

These were advertised as height adjustable and the pictures in the listing, and even in the reviews, showed a metal telescoping wand. Mine came with a short clear plastic stick 9 3/4 inches long with a tight rubber band that you would slide up and down to change the height of the light ring. Once I put these in the soil deep enough for stability, I’m only going to get about 7″ of clearance above the plant. That’s fine for low growing things like succulents and most herbs, but these lights make most things grow rather tall. I’m going to have to move my basil to pots appropriate for these lights and save my other taller lights for the dwarf beans and tomatoes. Most annoying.
Adding that they are clearly not operating on an accurate timer. I have others that run 16 hours on and 8 hours off. I started them all at the same hour but after a week these are lagging behind by 3+ hours.

The plant lights have been great, I have 4 of them. Although, one died after a month of using it. Must be a fluke or they do not have long lives. The other three are great, which is why I was so shocked!

Light works amazing. I have not used the timer. Sometimes hard to keep the light upright in a plant, as it is top heavy.
