After getting them, I decided to give them a try and it wasn’t until four hours later that I realized my hand didn’t hurt. That had never happened before that I remember – at least for any long sessions.
They work great, very heavy duty design.
But for some reason, perhaps the shape or maybe just the fit in my hand, they are the most comfortable shears I have used. They also snip small limbs almost effortlessly.
I’ve probably logged 30 hours on them and there is nothing I can complain about. I haven’t even had to sharpen them yet. There is the issue that they are scissor design instead of pincher design, but that’s obvious from the picture. I find I often need both, but the scissor design is the one I’d choose if I had to pick only one.
Great shears! Recommended.

These pruning shears are really well made and strong. I have only used them for clipping the stems of artificial plants, but they worked ok. I had to go over the wires a couple of times before it cut through but the wires are steel. I imagine this would work much better on wood.
These shears have a safety on them to keep them locked closed which I love. The blades are teflon coated so they don’t stick to what you are cutting. The handle is comfortable and it was easy for me to use even though I have arthritis in my right hand.
I love these shears. They work for my purposes. Highly recommend.

Sharp and sturdy pruning shears, a very useful tool. And it is very comfortable in your hand: the handles are covered with a special “rubbery” (I am not being technical here) substance.
Besides the normal safety, to keep it locked, it comes with another button that commands the opening of the shears: the image under the button depicts a small and a big hand, and the “big hand” opening is really very wide (I have big hands, it goes beyond my max possible opening). Of course that commands also the width of what you can possibly cut.
A good help for the joys of gardening.

They appear to be able to handle heavy pruning.

My favorite feature on this set is he thumb lock. My other gardening shears have a rotating lever that you have to fenagle with to lock/unlock which is a pain. Next, these are so comfortable and cut easily reducing hand fatigue. They also feel very durable and look very nice. No issues or complaints!

It seems like I go through a set of pruning shears every year in my garden. I don’t know if I’m particularly hard on them or what. But these feel well made, and I have a feeling I won’t be needing to replace them for years. They are comfortable for me to hold and use in my average-sized woman’s hand, and they snip efficiently. I particularly like that the opening can be adjusted to a wider area for pruning branches. I’m looking forward to much more use as my garden starts producing.

I give these 4.5 stars.
good:
comfortable to hold
good size and heft/weight
very easy to cut stems and small branches, don’t need to use a lot of hand pressure
bad:
the only negative is that if you’re already wearing your gardening gloves it is a little bit tricky to take the lock off, sometimes i have to take my glove off to do it.

The trimmer came in a plastic packaging which for some reason was loosened during its trip to me. Nonetheless, the trimmer was still in a good shape.
Compared with the current trimmer I have, this trimmer obviously has higher quality:
1. It weights about 250g which is 60% heavier than my old trimmer. When I held it, I could tell it is much sturdier.
2. It uses non-slip rubber material around the handheld area. My older trimmer has no special material applied in this area.
3. It has curved blade design similar to that of the 1 3/4″ pro lopper I have. My older trimmer on the other hand has just straight blade.
4. The golden part in the photo is made of Japanese SK5 steel according to the seller. While I have no way to verify the origin of the steel, the golden part is indeed very solid and looks very cool!
5. The black blade in the photo is made of high hardness steel.
6. Even though the two trimmers are almost identical in size, this trimmer has a wider opening than my older trimmer. The maximum opening is about 2″. It should handle 3/4″ branch easily.
7. It has a carrying belt/rope. My older trimmer has none.
I will definitely replace my older trimmer with this one!
