No timer on this item. See picture of with lights and without, the difference with the usb led light stick is huge.
Bulbs are a bit heavy for the stalks they fall very easily .
I will see how well the plants do now I may get a higher powered bulb later.
What is nice is that the light is very white, it really is not disturbing in the living room.
No timer is my bad, I forgot to check. Will add a timer plug I already have.

I have used grow lights for years to support my indoor jungle. Of all the lights that I have tried this is the only one that I have purchased repeatedly, and that I will gladly buy again. The light strength is great. It made a definite difference for my plants. They have flourished since I started using these lights. The clamp that attaches the lamp works well and creates a secure and lasting attachment. The goosenecks length is limited, but that is always the case. You need to decide, if the specifications of this lamp work for your setup prior to ordering. I particularly like that the light bulbs are replaceable. It makes the lamp more sustainable. I purchased the first of these Sansi lamps a year ago and have used them about 12 hours every day since then. I have not had any failures! (I cannot say the same for the other lamps I purchased on amazon. In the competitor’s product the lamps failed within a year, and then the entire thing needed to be thrown out, because it was not possible to purchase new bulbs). Also, from my experience, either the timer or the adapters fail in competitors’ products. That has not been the case with this one. I use a simple wifi plug, that I purchased on amazon, to power this lamp. I check the status of the lamp and control the operating hours on the phone app. This is a setup that I recommend to anyone. It has worked well for me. Nothing in that setup has failed yet, but should something fail, the bulbs, the lamp, the wifi plugs, are replaceable, that way you don’t have to throw the entire thing out. Also: I am tired of the stands on some of the competitors’ lamps. The stands usually take up space, they are not very secure, and are not attractive or easy to clean around. With the clamp I don’t have that problem. As long as you have a place where the clamps can be attached, I highly recommend using this lamp!

This isn’t going to grow you monster plants. It’s a nice extra touch of light when you need it. It’s nice for clones and plants that don’t require a ton of light. I read tons of a reviews about how hot these get and I just haven’t experienced that. Yes there is a small area that can get hot over time but it’s not a part you should be touching much. I found this light to be better then the purple bendy lights you see around. I’d recommend

Can’t say anything about longevity. They are nice and bright. The bulbs do get hot so I’m hoping the stability of the gooseneck hold. Will. It let them run while on vacation due to the hot bulbs

This light is seriously the best! I’ve had this light for about 2 months now and it is probably the best investment I’ve made for my plants. I recently moved to a house with very little access to bright light and many of my plants began to decline because of this. After I began to use this light however, my plants began to perk back up! They’ve gained their bright color back, many of them have thicker, sturdier stems than before. One of my plants which had all but stopped growing has actually began to grow for the first time since I got it!
Pros:
– Lights are adjustable and keep their position well. Meaning you can aim the lights at certain places to get all your plants covered.
– Bulbs seem to last a long time, so far I have been using these lights anywhere from 6-10 hours a day for 2 months and they are still going strong!
– Clamp base allows you to position the light in unique places. Personally this is a perk as I am able to position the lights above my plants without having to clear floor space for a stand.
Cons:
– The lights get HOT!!! I have burned myself several times. If you are careful you’ll be fine but you cant touch them at all while they are on, including to adjust the position (which can be annoying to turn it off and wait till it cools off before changing the angle of the light)
– The clamp is a little finicky, it has to be attached to something thick and sturdy or it will move/wiggle (which could lead to being burned)
I definitely recommend this light, just be careful not to burn yourself! 🙂

I really do like sansi light quality, my plants are under their grow lights 16 hours a day and they love it! Now to the structure in itself, the clip is okaish but you need to make sure you have at least 4-5 cm of a flat surface for it to grip properly, the heads are good, however after using them for some time they start to get a little bit floppy, the cable has a good length and I love that each head has their own switch. I still really love them and would absolutely buy a new set.

LOVE this grow light, it is phenomenal. I can clip it on my desk and have it shine on my plant wall perfectly. The lights are bright and perfect for your plants to grow during the winter months. Bulbs have a lifetime guarantee, which increases me interest of buying this product. The arms of the lights are strong and stay in position. Although, do not clip them upside down as the arms will not hold very well when upside down. They are meant for upright positioning. There is no timer function, but it is easy to flip on and off. I have placed more of these on my Christmas wish list to help my other plans in other areas of my home. I highly recommend Sansi for your grow light needs.

My apartment doesn’t get a lot of natural light, so I gathered all of my surviving plants onto the best-lit window sill, but they were hanging on by a thread. So, I bought a single-bulb Sansi clip-on grow light and clipped it to the window frame. My plants noticeably perked. But it still wasn’t quite enough light for the plants I have, so six months later I bought the two-bulb version. Since I replaced the single bulb with the two-bulb version, my plants have just shot up, and the Blossom app says they have great light.
In the two bulb version, it’s two of the ten watt bulbs, and they can be individually posed. (Using two ten watt bulbs is preferable to using one of the larger Sansi bulbs – which can be purchased separately – as the larger bulbs are too bright to have hanging in my line of sight and too heavy to use with these clip-on lamps.
The clip for the two-bulb version is the same as in the single-bulb setup, so it was slightly harder to place due to the additional weight, but I did get it into position on the window frame, and it has stayed in place since.
There is an on/off switch on the cord for each of the two bulbs, but I have my grow light plugged into a GE outlet timer that is set to turn the lights on around sunrise and off around sunset. The Sansi lights do not include a timer feature.
And Sansi touts a lifetime guarantee for the bulbs, which is great. And I wouldn’t have bought the lights if they weren’t EHL listed and from a reputable-looking company.
