as this was available on line and a universal fit and a lot $60 cheaper than what I had on offer from the big green shed. The attachment arrived hear in Australia from the USA it looked like from Texas originally. it was a box inside a box the trimmer was in two pieces so you need a Allen key to putt head unit onto the pole. As you can see in vid it clicked into my ryobi and hole lined up ( no modification needed) The trimmer appears to be well reinforced and dose a good job cutting very happy with it and was well worth the wait getting it shipped here

Its fine for what it is, short but effective 👌 a little zippy in speed ,have to ease off the trigger for a nice cut! But works good on the old weed wacker. Only con is that i cant for the blades in all the way for storage.

This works great on tall grass and even trims shrubs well. The tilting head is a game changer. I can trim the tops of tall shrubs, trim along the edge of my woods, and trim on banks or slopes. So far it’s been very durable.

Works as intended on my Ryobi extend it 40v weed eater. It is heavy so using it is cumbersome until you figure out how to carry it. Can’t compare to the Ryobi articulating attachment but both have similar weight specs so I can’t imagine it being much different.

I ordered this attachment to replace my Ryobi one that had a damaged shaft. I use the attachments on my Kobalt battery powered tool. I also have grass trimmer, tiller, and edger that I use with this tool as well. My Ryobi never fit perfect into this tool but all of my others do. The attachment came in on schedule and was pretty much as advertised. It is multi-angle and gives you a lot of extra reach that I didn’t have with my Ryobi. I used it to cut one of my larger bushes and the tool cut fine but was a little heavy reaching out with everything fully extended. Nothing I can’t handle but it would be a problem if I had to do it for a couple of hours. The reason I gave this a 3 star rating was what happened after I had finished. When I went to remove the attachment from my tool – the shaft stayed in my tool and the metal sleeve just came off. When I inspected everything – I discovered that unlike every other attachment tool that I have – there is no stopper attached to the shaft to stop the shaft from easily coming out of the sleeve. Because there was no stopper – the firm grip my tool had on the shaft meant there was no way for me to separate the two without going into my shed to get a pair of pliers. With the pair of pliers – I was able to get the shaft to release without issue – but now I have to always carry around extra tools when I want to use this. If they had simply put a stopper on the shaft – everything would have been fine. I will need to look to see if I can add my own stopper – but unless there is something to stop against – that won’t be of any value. With all the grease – I was not able to see anything to stop against.
With that being said – my gut tells me that this is cheaply made and is probably not going to last – but I will give it a few more tries to see.

This item does not cut well and is of poor quality. Carful when purchasing because I received a wild badger power attachment which is apparently made by Sunseeker. When using the item it gets too hot to touch really fast. Tried returning the item and Amazon said it is not eligible for return. Take my advice and go with something different. This item isn’t worth the packaging it was shipped in.

I’m happy with the purchase. Decent quality and cheaper than the other ones I looked at. Fast shipping. It’s a direct fit for the craftsman I have.

I bought this hedge trimmer knowing beforehand that it would not fit my Echo PAS 225 without modification. I decided to go with this trimmer because of the price difference between it and the name brand Echo hedge trimmer attachment. I used my angle grinder with 36 grit flap disc and secured it in my workbench vice. The diameter of the tube that comes with this trimmer is around 0.99” and needed to be sanded down to approximately 0.96” in order for it to fit my echo. After a few spins on the flap disc I reached the 0.96” diameter and it fit into the female end of my Echo power head. In order for the tube to “lock” in with the spring loaded set screw, I had to drill an additional hole (7/32”) into the trimmer tube. A little grease and it was ready to roll. I am SUPER impressed with this trimmers ability to cut and the versatility that the articulating head provides. I could not be happier with it and will certainly try out other attachments from this company. Hope this review helps any Echo owners who might want to save about $125.
*I have attached a photo showing the measurement of where to drill the new hole.

I used it on a Greenworks 80v trimmer. Works well. Cut about 150 Ft of 12 foot Hedges. No problem. For the price, you can’t beat it. Oil the blades every 20 minutes or so. That’s usual practice for all hedgers. It can use a quick sharpening but no complaints. So 4.5 stars.
Hello –
I bought this item because I have a lot of overgrowth to cut back. I have a Stihl HS-45 gas powered trimmer but as it is hand held and it would be too much bending and reaching to use. I honestly didn’t know if any pole trimmer was going to do what I was going to ask anyway so I didn’t want to spend $300-$500 on a Stihl or Husqvarna. I think I paid about $80 for this one. It did come in a box bearing a different brand name on it. I think it came as a “badger”.
I don’t know how much the power head you are using comes into play but for reference, I am using this on a Ryobi Expand it power head. Obviously, my Stihl trimmer cuts thicker material with much less effort but I was pleasantly surprised how well this unit performed. I have seen reviews stating it is heavy. Well, put anything on the end of a four foot pole and it will get heavy sooner or later. It is certainly not unwieldy. I found myself cutting in 15-20 minute bursts. This was not because it was tiring to use, that’s just the way my days went using it. This thing performed extremely well on weed grasses, vines and even pencil thick branches. It struggled a little with thicker stuff but did manage to cut through it.
I had seen reviews stating the head gets hot after running it for a while. I haven’t noticed that but I have been hitting the cutting head with WD-40 or PB Blaster before each use (like the directions say). I Do find the cutter head loosens from bar and needs to be tightened up a little. I put threadlock on it and keep an Alan key with me and haven’t found it to be a real problem. Speaking of the cutting head, super easy to change the cutting position. Easy to change position 1 handed with no tools. I found myself using it much like a string trimmer cutting low to the ground by positioning the cutter head parallel to the ground. What a treat for my back.
If you’re a pro or super big brand loyal, of course you will have negative things to say about this product but I have been using (and abusing) this thing on my own property and on a farm with 15 years of overgrowth and creep to it. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this product again in a heartbeat. It has already saved my money, my back, my time and my energy. For $80, I’ll take that all day long.
