I have a garden faucet that is difficult to get to. With this nifty controller, it is easy to control two different sprinklers from inside the house or many miles away.
I bought the version with brass connectors, if there is a choice, as plastic will eventually break, probably when you are out of town.
The interface of the control app (Smart Life) is easy to use. There are both Android and iPhone versions. With the help of another application, apparently Smart Life works on Windows PCs.
The control hub needs to be in range of your WiFi, and the smart valve needs to be within range of the hub.

This hose timer is very easy to install. The battery cover snaps off and requires AA batteries (not included) to power the timer. There is a screen filter on the inlet which can interfere with a back flow check valve if you use the screw on type and attach it to your hose bib. You can use an adapter to just remove the screen filter as it is attached to the gasket.
This type of timer does not require you to set a time and date and schedule the water to come on at a set date and time Instead you set the time for the timer. You then select the time for the water to turn on, and for how long you want the water on. You then set the frequency either in hours or days that you want the watering repeated. Using this you can schedule watering intervals for weeks at a time. You can also set a duration and manually turn on the water with a button.
All of these setting are inputted using a dial and plus(+) or minus (-) buttons.
This hose timer is good quality. It is a little complex at first but it gets the job done.

We are no longer bound by bluetooth when we are traveling. Watering now can be activated through internet from anywhere. Great product!

I have a large yard with a lot of grass and plants and no sprinkler system. Every year I have struggled with moving sprinklers around to try to keep things alive during the increasingly warm temperatures of summer. I had the usual issues with forgetting and area or accidentally leaving a sprinkler on and have to spend hours moving them around. So this year I decided to go to a DIY system to see if I could manage time with my phone and use a couple of large tripod sprinklers that would cover 80% of the area I needed to water from one faucet. This dual outlet timer was the first piece of the puzzle and it is working GREAT!

The app is easy to use and program. App allows this dual zone timer to set watering times by day of the week, even numbered days, odd numbered days, every few days (not sure what this is). This works well as our bylaws allow us to only water on even numbered days for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours at night. ALWAYS!!!! Leave 1 minute from the end of a water time to begin the start of the next watering time or zone. If you don’t the 2 time won’t start. Also, the setting up if the wifi was not straight forward as per the directions. I still have it a 5 star as I am somewhat techno literate.

This 2-zone water timer is an invaluable tool for garden enthusiasts and homeowners looking to maintain a healthy and vibrant garden with minimal effort. Its ability to independently manage two zones with customizable schedules offers both convenience and efficiency. While there may be a learning curve during the initial setup and a need for regular battery maintenance, the overall benefits far outweigh these minor inconveniences. This device is a worthy investment for anyone aiming to streamline their garden irrigation process and promote sustainable water usage.

The single brass fitting was great, however I was still worried about the two plastic outflow fittings. Now with ALL THREE FITTINGS 100% brass, I can rest easy. Easy to understand instructions, well responsive smart life app, and durable water timer. Performs like a champ, no signs of leakage at the fittings. Will update again in the future regarding battery life, but so far this timer is great!

Works great, only problem I had was zone 2 didn’t turn off when zone 1 turned off, would recommend to set times a couple minutes difference between zone 1 and 2. This will give your WIFI and software time to process.

The ease of use is incredible. I absolutely love being able to control it from my phone. There’s so many settings and I can control it from anywhere. I brag about my smart sprinkler system. If you frequently water a garden/yard, you will not regret this. Not to mention, being able to control allows you to waste less water. This is worth way more than what they sell it for.

This is a great product that works as designed with the Smart Life app. I use it with two different zone schedules, one that irrigates a larger lawn in a sunny location and another zone that irrigates a smaller lawn in a shaded locations. Out of the box, I had an issue with the two zones starting and stopping at the scheduled time; I wanted Zone 1 to start and run for 15 minutes and then have Zone 2 start and run for 10 minutes. Unfortunately, Zone 2 wouldn’t start when Zone 1 stopped, and I had to offset the Zone 2 schedule by one minute to get it to work. Alice at Insoma customer support was very helpful and resolved the problem with a Firmware update on the timer; it now works with the schedule I wanted. I’m very happy with the product and the excellent support provided by Customer Service.

I really like this Insoma wi-fi water timer; it’s solidly built, simple to operate directly (push on, push off), and the instructions for operating the device via an app are surprisingly good and more detailed than I expected. I had everything up and running within about 15 minutes. I wondered if the watering schedules required the app to be running at all times, so I contacted technical support and got a response back within a couple of hours. So fast! (The schedules are stored in the cloud, the app is not required after you set things up.) As you can see in the photo, I split the two output ports to manually support extra zones. Once Insoma releases a four-port version of this product, I will be anxious to purchase it as well. Well-made, easy to use, excellent support, and great value!
