I have a fairly new F-Other-Brand of pruners that I just went in the trash, because they were not cutting through any size stem, but only cutting about 3/4 of the way and stripping the rest. A Struggle to get the stem cut. I used these Work Pro pruners and they are sharp, cut even some thinker branches clear through, no stripping of the the stem. Quick, Easy and Sharp. They are enjoyable to use knowing they will get the job done. I also purchased the smaller Work Pro pruners for precision deadheading of roses and other flowers. They work great also. It’s good to have a quality products that works as intended.

I have owned this light duty pruner for only a couple of months and have owned others which were more expensive but these ones are well worth the money and what sets this one apart from most is the the sheer side opposite the the blade has a groove that the blade rests in after a fully pressed. In addition that side has serations to ensure the branch being cut sits steady. The groove and serations ensure a clean cut and prevents the pruner or branch from twisting during the cut motion. Most of you that have been doing a lot of pruning know exactly what I mean. Excellent pruners for the price!

These shears are perfect for what I’m doing… cutting cannon fuse. Since I’m only going to use them for the 4th of July, I couldn’t see spending three times as much on the professional shears.

A great product to use in a floral garden. It does cut thick branches without any problems.
Really love this shear cutter. Very easy to use and to handle.

Clippers work, but cheap green plastic pin doesn’t work which means the clippers are always in the wide open position. This is a potential cutting hazard. I replaced a pair of Fiskar clippers with these as I’ve had good luck with Greenworks tools. This was a but, I should have gone with Fiskars.

These cut very well and overall a pretty good value. Unfortunately the locking system is (at least the pair I have) not good. They cannot be locked or unlocked just using your thumb. I have to find some hard edge (like a brick) and use that as leverage to lock or unlock even though I’ve oiled it sufficiently. Maybe if your hands are stronger than mine you wouldn’t have this issue.

I got a someone’s pair they tried and returned. I can see a little green leaf stain and some scratches but that doesn’t bother me. It is properly lubricated and the screw is not too tight – it’s just not great because I need it to open quickly. I can’t see myself quickly clipping down branches for refuse day and I worry that a season’s worth will just wear them out, so I’ll be sending them back as well.
