Muy práctico, algo pesado, pero trabaja muy bien, cortes limpios y muy silenciosa en comparación de otras marcas.

Used to trim down a lane, did a great job, battery lasted a lot longer than I thought it would. very pleased with how it worked..can be a little heavy, it said it came with a harness, but it didn’t.

light, cedar hedges

Cuts branches much larger than advertised. Be advised, this unit is heavy when fully extended, but well worth the added reach.

This cordless trimmer works very well for trimming small brush or grass. I tried it first for trimming tall grass around some trees and it cleaned up ok. The only thing I didn’t like is if the grass is too thick, it tends to twist in your hands as there is no grip to keep it from twisting. Cleaning up or to square up sides of brush works very well. The weight is a little awkward, other than that, I’m pleased with how it works.

Wel tevreden over het toestel op zich maar ontgoocheld over de prijs wanneer ik merk dat Aldi een gelijkaardig toestel aanbied voor de HELFT van de prijs!!!

I like this trimmer. It is fine for doing light duty trimming in areas that you could not reach with a pole.
I chose this brand because I already had a couple of old Worx batteries from a 6 year old lawn trimmer. The batteries are the same although they’ve been updated in their labeling a bit. The charger is significantly different, which is good, because that old wall wart charger took a long time to charge a battery. I was a bit worried because my lawn trimmer would go through batteries pretty quick, and I’m still not sure this trimmer would work well with only one battery. One battery was enough for my testing, but I wouldn’t expect it to last more than 30 minutes with constant trimming however.
Honestly, next to my “Brand X” 18V cordless hedge trimmer, this Worx looks and sounds a little underpowered. Of course the “Brand X” is a hand trimmer, and not on a pole. The pole version of that brand’s trimmer may be lighter duty as well. The Worx did OK actually cutting, but just looking at it, I can see that it would have its limitations. The trim head is easy to adjust and goes from 90 degrees down to 45 degrees up (135 degree range). The plastic “scabbard” has a mounting hole for the wall so you can use it to hang the trimmer head while not in use. I guess you hang the pole on a hook then. I didn’t see anything in the box for hanging that.
I agree with what I read in other reviews. It does get heavy after a while, and initially the pole on mine wouldn’t stay extended either. I was able to tighten it up with a screwdriver and a allen wrench. If you over tighten it (like I did), you won’t be able to move the orange release lever, but after loosening it enough to work the lever, it still was able to grip the pole tightly and not move while in use. I also agree that a short handle attachment to make this a light duty hand trimmer would have been very nice. It may be a bit underpowered to use as hand trimmer, but it is notably lighter than my “Brand X”, and I think it would have made a nice light trimmer (light duty and light weight). Also as others have said, there is no grab handle, which is a real head scratcher since the grass timmer has an adjustable grab handle and it is not nearly as long. The back handle does rotate, but I found no use for that. It was easier just to rotate my grip.
One thing I didn’t like about this trimmer that I didn’t see mentioned much is that the trigger can get hung up where it needs a more grip strength to keep it pressed than I would like. Overall though, its pretty nice and got the job done.

This Worx cordless pole hedge trimmer is well built, cuts good but very top heavy. I guess it has to be seeing all the moving parts are at the top of the tool. All the others I looked at weighted about the same 7.5lbs. The other complaint is where the trigger handle is, makes it very uncomfortable to use and balance when extended. should have come with some sort of shoulder strap to help balance the tool.

Just got this last week and today was the 1st day to try it.. We have high bushes that need a long reach.
Decided on Worx because I have the edger which I am truly pleased with.
The good: Full extension came out to 8′, which helped a lot. The option of changing the blade angles also helped a lot. I like that its battery operated – Cut too many cords in the past.
The bad: The 20 volt 2 amp battery doesn’t seem to have enough power to cut the thicker branches. Had to get out my electric trimmer. (Cord again, yuk!) The battery itself lasted Ok. I also used my trimmer batteries. Same type.
The hand grip ripped apart after an hour. Didn’t last long if it rubs against other branches. It is something that is needed, since the poles get hot from the sun.
The weight – It is heavy, especially at full extension. I don’t think my wife could do it. Not sure what can be done about this.
Wish I could be more positive about it. We only cut the bushes twice a year, so we’ll keep it and deal with the negatives. I will make another hand grip for it.

I first tried the 40V twin-battery Worx 24″ hedge clipper and found it too heavy to cut vertical walls of hedge for any length of time. The 40V does the job, but powerfully cuts at a slower rate than the 22″ 20V hedge clipper (which is light and versatile, and cuts fast).
The WG252, 20V extended hedge clipper being reviewed is also light enough to handle at full length with long extended reaches (using the hedge as support as well). The WG252 does have enough “bite” to re-shape an overgrown hedge top to twigs. The blade turned slightly downward will cut effective sweeping passes. Two passes gets it clipped, and there were still two lights lit showing some reserve power. Good tool. Matches up with the 22″ WG261 hedge clipper to manage these hedges. When Worx re-configures the 40V hedge trimmer to be a lighter-weight, serious, hedge clipper…. I’ll order one. Until then, I’m hedge-clip covered.
Note: The metal insert wrist-support (Hely & Weber) for my left wrist lessens strain. Note the position of my right hand controlling the handle-switch and (orange) safety-switch above it, which is most effective with less stress on an ailing left wrist. Once the top orange safety is pushed forward in conjunction with squeezing the handle-switch, the tool will run continuously and the orange safety switch can be released, as long has the handle-switch is remains gripped..

The trimmer works well, but I wish the cutting blades were slightly larger. As a senior in my mid-70s, I found it a bit heavy even though I’m pretty fit. I accomplished what I set out to do even though I let the bushes in question get higher and bushier than I should have.
The price is reasonable and the trimmer should be fine if you intend to maintain a bush height of approx 5-6 feet. Also, the battery aspect permits me to go to trim at the back of our acreage.
Give it a try, you have nothing to lose.

It’s well made and fits together perfectly. It cuts good and adjusts quite easily. I thought I would be able to use it without the extended length, like a regular hedge clipper. I found it to be quite heavy when using it at full length. My arms were quite tired for sure after using it at full extension. I guess I’ll have to keep using the old one as well as the new one. It sure did make it easier because I didn’t have to use a ladder to reach the high bushes. The battery lasted through the whole job. I was trimming large bushes with it not hedges. They about 11 feet tall and 12 feet in diameter. I would give it a rating of 9 out of 10. I’m happy with the purchase.
